Local Native Plant Sales Winter 2025
Bare-Root Native Plants Now Available for Butterfly Gardening
This is the time of year to plan your butterfly garden and order the plants. Many Soil and Water Conservation Districts in the Willamette Valley sell inexpensive bare-root native trees and shrubs which you can order online now and pick up in February or March. Most sales also include some containerized plants. Go to our Gardening page and use the tables there to decide which plants would serve the butterflies which do or can occur in your area and which plants would grow well on your site. Note that these tables can now be searched and sorted by any column. You might also want to check out one or both of the native plant books that we recommend on our Books page.
